Sigh. My mother's complaining that I spent too much time on the computer again. Grrr. One day, I will just get my very own computer. One with which I do not have to share with the rest of my family. Already, yesterday night, she did not allow me to go online and chat with you guys. It is sooo annoying you know. Hmph. I am sooo FUMING right now.

I guess I can't type much now, even though I want to today, what with her breathing down my neck.

I may be going to mumu's house again tomorrow. Dunno whether umi will let though. I feel kind of lazy. What the heck, I've been lazy all year round.

After photog today, me, pui man and yea tian, went to kino. Pui man bought her usual manga. then we walked around a bit. I couldn't believe what I set my eyes uopn. There was this whole shelf with all HP-stationery!!! There were HP erasers, notebooks, pencils, pens, pencil boxes, coin boxes and I can't remember wad else. But of course everything was very EXPENSIVE (one tiny eraser cost $1.75), like all HP stuff are. I saw the book yu jie bought - "The Science of Harry Potter". There seems to be lots of LOTR. Hah... wad did I expect? I saw the visual companion to the two towers. Really nice. Am looking forward to Dec 19 now...

Sorry lah... my sentences seem very choppy now... just wad has gotten into me?

Yu Jie writes a lot in her live journal. I'm sooo envious. She is such a born writer. She can write fics too. can't think of anything to write. This is getting sooo dull.

Sigh. Let's write about trivial matters... so long as this place is filled up. I started reading "So Much To Tell You" again. You know, the lit book from Sec one. It's the first time I'm reading it again since then. Maybe that's because the sight of that book brings back horrible memories... *shudders* - STANLEY. What a horrible woman. Glad she's gone from our school now.

Anyway, not to digress to much... "So Much To Tell You" is quite a nice book lah... contrary to what I thought of it last time. The author's way of writing is unique. Anyway, I like this poem that Cathy gave to Marina...

Anyway, this morning, when we woke up before the break of dawn to stuff our tummies for the day, the phone rang. It rang at 4 AM in the morning. Can you believe that? We were surprised all right. It turned out to be an emergency. My granny (she doesn't live with us) had fallen in the bathroom and she couldn't get up. It was the neighbour who called. So my father left the house to help her. I think she's alright. She's 72 but she's really strong. She's in the hospital right now but I haven't seen her. I will sometime soon.

Today was very BORING. I know I should do homework or housework even, but I'm way too lazy. Can't help it. So I watched tv. Sweet November and this movie with young Robin Williams in it. Quite a sad story. The I played 'congkak' with my sis. Played a few rounds and got bored again. Then finally my bro went off the comp and I came here. Now here I am. I'm drawing a blank in my mind again... hmmm...

Wanted to go National Library today, for fun, with my sis. But we didn't get to ask her what with all the chaos in the morning. Didn't have a chance to ask. I should go back and do something worth doing. This is such a waste of time. I'm just drifting around doing nothing. sigh.

And the computer is creating problems for me. The network connection keeps going off. I better go then. Til next time.

Went to mumu's house today. We were supposed to meet at Eunos at 12:30. I reached there quite early. Jiawen was already there. Poor thing... she came at 12. Mumu didn't have time to tell her that our meeting was postponed. Liyana... she came at 2pm. YES, 2 PM. We were thinking up of various ways to kill her while we waited. I bought a magazine to past the time (LIME, with HP in it) and even finished the whole of it before she arrived.

Apparently, her ear was malfunctioning when mumu called her. She heard "Bedok" instead of Eunos... God knows how that happened. So... she went to Bedok... while we waited for her at Bedok. sigh. Tok about wasting time.

DV 11 is till not here. I've been trying to wait patiently...

Oh, the turkey called my handphone today while I was at Eunos MRT station. I thought she was gonna say that DV 11 is finally here... I was about to start bouncing on the spot... who cares about the people walking past?! This is HP we're talking bout! But then the turkey said that the Oprah show was on TV. Hahar. HP news nonetheless. hehe.

8 more days to Hari Raya. And my baju kurung still isn't ready. *whines*

Sigh... I hate this. I can't see my blog. Whatever I'm writing now... I won't be able to see it on the actual site. WHY??? *whines*

I'm lacking of things to write. Everytime I'm here... my mind starts to draw blanks. My brain slows down.. "Eeeer... why are we here?"

Went to Suntec just now with the two birds - turkey and duckie. Bless those two fluffy things. Anyway, it was absolutely a HP outing. All we ever talked bout was HP. Anybody who joined us would have puked all over the floor with the overflowing HP conversations. Honestly, we're nutters, the three of us. We went hunting for te HP soundtrack. The cheapest so far is the one at HMV - $19.95. We tried to look for a magazine which supposedly, contains lots of HP stuff. But we couldn't find it. We saw this kind of parody magazine - 'Harry Plodder'. It was absolutely insulting. There was this part when Harry was deciding what subjects to take for third year when the parody Ron replied, "Why don't you try acting lessons? You're no Haley Joel Osment." Hmph. The implication of that maddens me.

Just now, I was trying to look for the DT quotes I put in here last time. I wanted to make a new signature for my YAHOO mail. But it seems, the quotes arenowhere to be found in my blog. Darn. I wanted to put the 'lemonade' quote!!! Hmph.

I shouldn't be online right now. There are better things to do, as my mother often reiterates to me. But I can't help it. And the listing of Draco's and Oliver's attributes is just sooo fun. I might do Ginny's next time, but she's a bit more complex than the two guys.

I'm supposed to finish one juz (one chapter) of the Qura'an real soon. I'm such an irresponsible person. Then, there's of course the cca orientation thing for next year. I'm supposed to decide wad we need for it by 30th Nov. Have to call Pui Man up then. sigh. I realise that as you grow older, the less a holiday feels like a holiday.

sigh. stilll no DV 11. I say that everytime. I'm starting to think that it will never come... or even if it does, I'll call Eunice up in 2070, when we're 83 yrs old, and croak, "Tu...urkeeey... DV 11... it's heeeerrrreee..." and drop dead from a heart attack. hah. Pls, Cassie... say stg. At least tell us if it's coming soon or not...

hmph. dunno wad else. Oh yar... I've been feeling guilty these days cos I havent been turning up for Drama at all. I feel sooo bad. It's just that I do have other stuff on, like Photog. And... even if I go, I know I wouldn't have anything to do. Cos I'm not part of costumes or props, I'm part of the treasury, though I have no idea how much money we have either.

In all the fanfics I've read, Draco is ALWAYS:

1) filthy, filthy, disgustingly, RICH; I think he could have bought a whole country if he wanted to

2) sooooo drop dead gorgeous with his blond-almost-silver hair and absolutely delicate features. Oh, and most of the time, he's supposed to have Veela blood in him. Aaaaaah... no wonder.... ;)

3) Very witty; his tongue is sooo sharp, he can cut you with a single nasty word. Oh, and if anyone thinks Asha Gil is not a good enough host for the Weakest Link, a better replacement will be him. All the participants will cower in fear, I tell you...

4) horrible childhood; which involves being shut up in the cupboard or some sort of torture Lucius invented

5) intelligent, but unfortunately, not as smart as Hermione

6) gray, COLD, eyes

Ok, cant quite remember the rest...

Now, I shall list the common attributes of Oliver, contributed by The Oliver-crazed fan, the duckie who's affected by the Oliver-Effect.

2) Favourite mode of transport : broomstick (DUH!)

3) Always catches the female character falling from her broomstick (oh damsel in distress!!). Most of the time the broomstick is hexed or jinxed by THE enemy

I'm back from the movie. Hehe. Enjoyed myself very much again. According to my boy cousins, the first one was better. Hmm, each to his opinion, I guess. My sis said that CoS is better though.

When I watched it the second time, Fawkes doesn't seem too bad after all. Really! And Eunice complained bout there being the screeching and no phoenix song. In truth, there was some music in the background, but I dunno whether it was intended to be the phoenix song or not. And the screeching was not that bad either. :)

Oh yar... the hug, Ron was like, "UH... uh... wel... welcome back." hehe.

U know, I realise there's a difference between watching with fans and watching with non-fans.I think the first time I watched it at Suntec, the theater was packed by a majority of HP-crazed people. U get the ooohs and aaahs and shouts and laughters at all the correct places. Like when Hermione was looking squeamish when she was about to hug Ron. Today, sigh. The cinema was crowded with little kids. Hello, crying is very disruptive okay...? Somebody's bloody handphone went off with a stupid tune in the middle of the polyjuice scene. What a spoiler. There was A LOT OF fidgeting. Honestly...

Anyway, now that the whole HP fiasco has slowly started to die down... reality has come flooding back to me. If only hogwarts and magic and fantasy can last forever and ever and ever... Now I remember all the stuff I'm supposed to do: A-Maths typing thingy, photog outing, cca day for 2003... homework and what not.

I've changed the name of my blog for now. Haven't really found a good one that will stay permanent. So, now it's called 'HP Overload' cos I realise that all I everwrite bout in here is HP. Well, 95% of the time is about HP and only 5% is devoted to my daily life happenings. What can I say? I'm a HP freak.

OK, It's Saturday and I'm gonna watch CoS for the second time!!! Yay!! I feel as excited as when I was gonna watch it for the first time.

I can't wait to watch everything again... the hug, hehe, that was hilarious! Polyjuice... which was really interesting.

This time, I'm going with my aunts and cousins... Cik An, Cik Dah, Cik Nah, Bubu, Salman, Amir, Umar, oh the whole lot! I bet the theater will be noisy. But I won't mind it too much I think, since I watched it already.

Anyway, Shen Onn wanted me to come on last night to chat with Eunice and her bout HP. She watched it a second time already, with yu jie. She wanted to scare yu jie with the 'grasping Harry's hand in Knockturn Alley' thing. But my mum won't let me come online yesterday night. She says I spend way too much time with the computer. Grrr. I really, really, really, wish I had my own computer, in my own room, with which I can use at anytime of the day, for any length of time. I can even wake up in the middle of the night to use it! hmph.

So last night, I satisfied myself wih watching the JKR interview, 'Harry Potter and Me', on Arts Central, at 11pm. It was very informative!!!! Far more than any hp interview i have ever watched! She revealed lots of stuff. She said that in book five, Harry will find out a llot more bout his past, and a lot more boy-girl stuff cos hormones are working overnight when u're fifteen. She also said stg that left me in jitters - A lot more deaths are coming in the rest of the story AND there will be a death that is really quite painful to read.

OMG! What if it's Harry!!!??? I can never forget the time she said in another interview, "How do you know Harry's not going to die?" I was like... "WHAT?!" IF that happens... ohman... And it's not any better if any of the Weasleys die. If it's Ron or Hermioneit'll be just asbad as Harry dying. sigh. JK, please be kind to your beloved characters...

For the last chapter of book 7, which JK has already finished, she had written stuff bout the things that the characters are gonna do after they leave hogwarts, at least the characters who've SURVIVED. hmph.

First off, let's say that I'm very much happy with the movie. Of course there are flaws, on which I will elaborate later. But overall, it's GREAT.

Ok, before I go on, I must warn those of u who have stumbled upon my little blog and haven't seen the CoS movie. Beware...

SPOILERS GALORE! SPOILERS GALORE!




Daniel, Rupert and Emma were certainly more confident of their roles! They were absolutely wonderful. I would have to say that Lockhart was great as well. There was much less of Oliver (sorry Yu Jie!), less Snape... but more Draco!!! Hehe. His smirk is almost perpetual.

Now... for my favourite parts...

1) The Burrow!!! I simply love the Weasley house. The clock was extremely nice. But then... we didn't get to see Ron's room. Hmm, how sad. Ginny's appearance was real good, just like the book. She was totally shocked to see Harry there, and fled. But unfortunately we didn't get to see her elbow sink into the butter dish. hee. I realised Fred and George hardly cracked any jokes... cept for the part when they were gonna play quidditch against hufflepuff and they said that the hufflepuffs were terrified that Harry would petrify them. Julie Walters was VERY Molly Weasley. Arthur Weasley was ok too.

2) The Whomping Willow. WOW, I'd say. I really didn't expect the branches of the tree to be THAT big and thick. One hit and you'd be dead. The branches were supposed to have cut Harry and Ron... but then it would have been bloodier I guess.

3) Dobby is very... irritating... but that's how he's supposed to be I guess. I think he's alright. The banging his head against everything he can get hold of is... funny and... just very dobbyish. Oh, there was the part at the end when he blasted Lucius (Lu-see-years) with magic. Now... that is doubtful... when did that happen in the book? Are house elves capable of magic...? hmm.

4) I wonder if Tom Riddle and Harry do mean stg when they speak Parseltongue... or is it just a bunch of hisses? Trying to figure it out now... I do remember Tom saying stg that sounds like'Slytherin' when he was summoning the basilisk.

5) The basilisk looks like tha monster from MIB - according to Pui Man. Well , a little bit. The eyes maybe.hehe. Other than that, it was scary alright. No wonder they say little kids would be a bit freaked out by the movie...

6) I didn't know that going back in time meant that everything turned grey as well. Everything was grey... Hagrid 50 years younger had shorter hair, but apparently they couldn't show his face. sigh. Dumbledore had a shorter beard but the same raspy voice. Honestly, I think Richard Harris was already sick on the set...

7) Lastly (for todae at least), is about fawkes. The bird seems to be the only problem for most of us. Well, as soon as it appeared on the screen, Pui Man commented that it was ugly. Well... it did look robotic and the beak and head was blackish and i dunno... just weird. Eunice seemed totally upset that its cries were that of an eagle, when it iwas supposed to be the phoenix song. And the 'tears part' was a "failure". It just kind of cried onto Harry's arm and healed the cut. Oh and Harry didn't seem very pained by the cut anyway. Maybe a venomous fang pierced into your arm isn't very painful after all...

Ok... I'm kinda tired of typing. I shall talk bout it again next time. I haven't mentioned the polyjuice potion, moaning myrtle and the hug thing!!! so funny!!

Anyway, still no news of DV 11. It seems cassie went to the NY premiere. goodie. wish i was there and I don't care if daniel's shirt was hideous (fine I admit it OK?). He can dress in rags for all I care. I'll be happy as long as I'm there.

hmm... dunno wad to say. Ok, I shall say that I've watched 'A Knights' Tale'. It was FUNNNY! Contrary to what I had expected. The crowds watching the joust (the game on the horse) were cheering to Five's 'We Will Rock You'. Can u believe that? Since when did people of the middle age know about rock and roll? My bro and me burts into incontrollable laughter whenwe saw it. Really. Other than the modern twist... it was quite a predictable plot. I think Heath Ledger fits those kind of 'old' roles u know... like 'The Patriot' or 'Four Feathers'.

sigh. shall go surf for more stuff now. may post again later.

I'm online every single day now... and it gives me a terrible headache... Anyway, I watched 'A Walk To Remember' already. Why do some love stories have to be sooo sad? Just look at 'Titanic'! What happened to the happily ever after thing???

Well... I guess today isn't too bad after all. See, me and my brother got TOO BORED that we decided to go out and rent some vcds. We rented... 'A Walk To Remember' (I've wanted to watch this movie for ages!), 'A Knights' Tale' (starring Heath Ledger) and 'Panic Room'. Well, at least I've got some entertainment in store for the rest of the days till HP. At least I won't be bored to death. hehe.

Okiie... shall go now. Oh oh... Eunice must think I abandoned her or something. I told her I'd be back after leaving for a while. Hmm. Hope she doesn't get the wrong idea!!! Wonder wad a mad turkey does for revenge...

Now, I'm not just bored... I'm pissed. There's stg wrong with bravenet.com. I can't seem to open Liyana's guestbook and I can't seem to open mine. There better be stg good happening todae, very soon, or else I will start tearing my hair out.

I think I'm becoming insane. *attempts to do ribena berry thingy... but fails* Darn, this day just gets worse and worse. I can't even be insane properly. And my internet connection just went off as well. Today is not my day...

I am SOOOO BORED! It's holidays... and I'm bored... how horrible is that? sigh. Mebbe I should go and do holiday homework... but that's no fun at all!!! aaaaggghhh! Mebbe I should start typing that Maths thingy for TK Wong... but that's no fun either... boo hoo. Eunice is watching oprah now... keeping her eyes peeled for the trio.

Maybe I just can't wait for Thursday. Maybe that's why I'm in such a bad mood. hmph.

Today is just one... irritating, annoying and frustrating day. It's a Sunday. And like all Sundays I have my religious class, which begins at 11 am and ends at 1pm. However, most Singaporean HP fans should know that Kids Central is showing the CoS 'Behind the Scenes' show at 11:30 am. Obviously, the times clashed.

I was tearing nyself apart, deciding whether to skip class or not. I mean... we finished our exams already and everything... so i thought it would be okay to miss class. But then my mother told me to go anyway, cos I'll be receiveing my madrasah exam results. And so I did go. Sacrificing the HP show. Darn.

When, I got to class, I was the first to enter. At first, this seemed to be not anything out of the ordinary, since I was early. But as time passed, only a total of 12 people came to class, out of a possible hundred. I'm serious. I already felt like banging my head against the wall for not just staying home to watch HP. I thought all that was bad enough.

Then, ustaz came in and announced to the class that he hasn't finished marking. He only managed to finish 7, yes only SEVEN papers. Now, that, made me want to ... hit my head on the wall even harder. The fact had become clear to me. I came to class for absolutely nothing. I felt as though God really didn't want me to watch that bloody show. I am very pissed off.

Luckily, out of the seven papers ustaz marked, mine was one of them. I got an A1 - 78 marks. It's the highest SO FAR. 78 is quite sad really, compared to the 98 marks I got last year. Sigh.

Right now, I'm just really pissed that I didn't get to watch that HP thing. I feel like complaining to the Kids Central Channel for puting such inconvenient times for the show. Can't they show it more often!! Apparently, they're not aware of the extend of the fanatism of Harry Potter in Singapore. Hmph. HMPH. Grrrr. I feel so fed up!

Something funny is going on. Liyana's and Munirah's blogs do not seem to display the latest entries... I dun know whether there's a problem with my computer... or mebbe there's stg else. sigh. Liyana called me this morning and told me that mumu wrote stg bout how she complains a lot bout jiawen. then jiawen... who probably felt hurt i guess... left a remark in liyana's guestbook. stg like... "I didn't know you had a lot ot complain about me to munirah". sigh. wad is going on? I hope everything's just fine.

Remember... frens like each other despite each other's faults... that's wad frens are I think. Actually frens mean many things more... but that's one of it.

Ok... i shall quit rambling. Why am I rambling like this....?

I finally succeeded in putting a guestbook in here! How wonderful. I hope to hear feedback from people. I don't care who. Anyway, my mum doesn't let me surf the net for more than half an hour. boo hoo. darn.

got hp ticks todae!! I'm feeling very very jolly! We're going on Nov 14, 11.30 am at Suntec. By the way, I saw the HP underpass! It was great. Sounds and everything. Can't wait for the movie. I was practically squealing just now.

I'm taking part in another quiz to win the premiere tickets. I van't seem to register... so Eunice is helping me do it.Goodie. Hope I win. I dun care if we dun win actually. As long as I do get to watch HP in the end.

O-Levels are over. Hoorah again! happy... happy... shall go now... before i turn completely insane... ; )

I tried to put a guestbook... but it's not working. I hope I don't mess everything up again.

Now, I shall write an entry before I go study for O-Level Exam. It's the last paper for the day. And for the year! Hooray! Finally, I'll get my freedom...

Anyway, I can't wait for next week! We're gonna watch Harry Potter and the CoS on Wed... or Thurs. Honestly can't wait. The premiere in London was exciting like last year. And again I wished I was there. Sean biggerstaff had the weirdest outfit. He wore a tux and a kilt at the same time. Figure that out. But he is still good-looking. At least Yu Jie thinks so. She's suddenly going crazy over Oliver. Haha. And Daniel Radcliffe's was perfectly fine, contrary to what Eunice thinks. I haven't heard any other complaints about him from other people. So... the gala premiere in Singapore is on Tue, 12 Nov. I still haven't heard any news from the papers - whether I won that quiz or not. Sigh. Even if I lost, they should have the courtesy to let me know. Stg like: "Thank you for taking part in the quiz, but you LOST" sigh. Maybe I should try taking part in that other quiz on the channel 5 website.

Anyway, Paper 1 just now was... not too bad. But i think my Malay could have been better. I think I may have wrote too long even. The examiner will get bored. Darn, wad have I done?! oh heck, can't cry over spilled milk.

I should go back to study peribahasas now. And maybe Liyana can help me put up a guestbook in here next time.

OOOHHH! I'm soo happy. My blog finally works again. Thanks to Liyana... who feels like she's the world's expert at computers.

Anyway... since my blog was down for some time... i dint get to post anything. so sad. and now... five of us here... sitting next to each other... Another thing...! I took part in this TODAY newspaper HP quiz. If I win I get 4 tickets to the HP COS movie premiere in Singapore. If I do win it, I'll SCREAM. I'm starting to fantasize all the possible scenarios of me winning the tickets... hmm.

Well, I'm using my aunt's comp right now. What should I do here...huh...? She doesn't have flash installed and the connection is terribly slow. sigh. I'm kinda bored. But they were saying that we should go to swensens. I second that. I miss brownies and ice-cream - my favourite kind of ice-cream. Yar, yar... fatten me u even more. Oh heck, the fasting month's coming what... eat all u want while u can.

Tomorrow, my granny almost made me bring my maid to the dentist. Then I remembered that me, mumu and liyana (why don't we start calling her Lili?...) are gonna watch a movie tomorrow after our malay lesson. Hooray! I hope we watch 'Four Feathers'. Heath Ledger is a good actor... and not too bad-looking too.

Malay... that reminds me. I haven't studied my peribahasas yet. God, this is O-level! I better study real soon.

I finally bought Hashim's present anyway. The 'Marvel Comics' calender and a CUTE giraffe-soft-toy key chain. hehe. I can't wait to see his face when he sees that giraffe. He's 14 and I'm giving him a stuffed giraffe for his birthday!!!
